My daughter and I decided to stop by. Even before walking into the store the outside is so beautiful. I love all the local and handmade items in the store. I will for sure be back to shop for some local meat and other items! The owners are so sweet! It’s worth the drive on 259.

With the way the food industry is, it can be hard to find quality meat and other produce that hasn't been injected with dyes, hormones, and more. Top Homestead has a wide selection of meat that hasn't been tampered with. Truly locally raised. I purchased some sirloin and brisket, and both were excellent. I'm excited to try their bacon and chicken as well.
Such a cute store. I live in Longview and didn’t know there was anything like this nearby. Didn’t know what to expect b/c we heard of it by word of mouth, and just thought it’d be fruit and vegetables. They have local, hand-made items in the general store. Flowers, seeds, local meat, home decor, garden supplies — this place is perfect. I’m never going to Wal-Mart again. Thank you to the owners, who were so kind!
I just enjoyed the most AMAZING filet I’ve had in YEARS! Tender, flavorful, and so satisfying! If you haven’t tasted Top Homestead’s local beef, you’re missing the taste of Texas!
My husband and I have been meaning to go by Top Homestead General Store since they opened! We finally made it by and WOW! We bought a ribeye, NY strip, and a sirloin. It was BY FAR the best flavor steak we have ever purchased and it was also the most tender steak we have ever had. We’ll definitely be frequent visitors! It’s everything you imagine a general should be and more. Not to mention, the owners are extremely kind and friendly and make you feel welcome! WE LOVE IT and definitely recommend it. It is such a great and unique resource to have right here in Longview!
I love this store. They have great products, all locally sourced. The owners are great people and sell what they take home to their own families. Can't wait to see what they do next.
